Sonia Slater
Sonia, who was admitted as a solicitor in 1997 and was a partner in a well-known Covent Garden private client firm from 2004, advises on the entire range of private client activities.
Sonia’s work involves setting up and advising on trust structures, providing tax advice (in particular inheritance and capital gains tax), advising on wills (including living wills and the preparation of Deeds of Variation), Court of Protection work and preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney. Sonia also advises on all aspects of probate work and intestacies including contentious probate/claims under the 1975 Inheritance Act, advising offshore trustees and individuals on residence and domicile issues.
